Columbia Regional Airport

The airport operates from a single passenger terminal with a small secure concourse of gates. Airlines use common ticketing and gate areas rather than separate buildings; airline counters and car-rental desks are clustered in the landside terminal. Facilities are compact and oriented for quick transfers and short walking distances.

Because there is only one terminal, no inter-terminal transport is required; everything - parking, curbside pick-up, rental cars and the ticketing lobby - is within a short walk or a quick shuttle from the lot.

Columbia Regional is a short drive from downtown Columbia (about 8-10 miles; roughly 15-20 minutes by car depending on traffic). Public-rail connections are not available.

• Car / driving: About 8-10 miles to downtown Columbia; typical drive time 15-20 minutes. Ample short- and long-term parking is available on airport property.
• Taxis & rideshare: Taxis and rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) serve the airport; fares to downtown are modest (typically under $25 depending on traffic and exact destination).
• Rental cars: On-site rental-car counters are located in the terminal; advance reservations are recommended.
• Buses / shuttles: There may be limited local shuttle or hotel shuttle options; public transit service to the airport is not a primary connection, so check hotels for shuttles.

The terminal offers basic passenger amenities suitable for a regional airport: a small café or vending machines, restrooms, and seating in the gate area.

• Lounges: There are no large airline lounges; expect limited or no access-controlled lounges.
• Food & drink: One or two small food/drink outlets or vending machines airside; more options are available in downtown Columbia.
• Wi‑Fi & charging: Free public Wi‑Fi is typically available; charging points are present but limited in number.
• Luggage & services: Baggage claim is small; checked-baggage handling is standard for regional carriers.
• Accessibility: The terminal is ADA accessible with elevators/ramps where needed and accessible restrooms.

There are several chain and independent hotels in Columbia (10-20 minutes by car) rather than immediately adjacent to the terminal. If you have a late arrival or early departure, book a downtown or I‑70 corridor hotel that advertises airport shuttle service or easy access via Broadway/US‑63.
