Cockburn Town (Grand Turk) is reached by small regional flights to JAGS McCartney International Airport (GDT) or by transfer from Providenciales (PLS) via short flights. There is no rail service; once on Grand Turk, taxis and walking cover most needs.
JAGS McCartney International Airport (GDT) - Grand Turk: Grand Turk’s airport (JAGS McCartney) is the main gateway to Cockburn Town. Ground transfers from GDT to Cockburn Town are very short (10-15 minutes); taxis and hotel shuttles are typical and inexpensive.
Providenciales International Airport (PLS) - Providenciales: Many visitors fly into Providenciales (PLS) and then take a short domestic flight or ferry to Grand Turk. Domestic flights from PLS to GDT take about 20-30 minutes on small regional carriers; ferry options are limited and seasonal.
Train: There is no rail service to Grand Turk/Cockburn Town.
