How to Get to Cocentaina Castle #
Cocentaina is about 35 km northwest of Alicante city. By car take the A-7 then CV-80/CV-70 toward Cocentaina; driving time from Alicante is roughly 40-50 minutes. From Cocentaina town center the castle is a 15-25 minute walk uphill (steep in places) along signage from Plaça del Pla or via Avenida del Castell. There is limited parking near the lower gate for private vehicles.

- Enter through the lower gate on the Avenida del Castell side - the path avoids the steepest stone steps and gives the best first view of the keep.
- Bring a flashlight if exploring interior rooms; some passageways are dim and the site has limited lighting.
