The Church of the Redeemer in Jerusalem is an Evangelical Lutheran church in the Christian Quarter of the Old City that was built in the late 19th century by the German Protestant community.
The church was constructed during the period of increased European church-building in Jerusalem in the late 1800s, funded and supported by German Protestant patrons and clergy, and has served the local Lutheran congregation since then.
