Château de Montpoupon is a Loire Valley manor in Centre-Val de Loire that houses a notable private collection focused on hunting traditions and equipment.

The principal attraction is the château’s museum displays relating to hunting and falconry, presented in historic rooms and converted outbuildings. The site is modest in scale compared with large royal châteaux but offers specialized collections of arms, trophies and period hunting gear.

The château retains elements from the late medieval and Renaissance periods with later restorations; its current character reflects building phases from the 15th and 16th centuries and subsequent upkeep by private owners. The hunting collection developed there in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Located in the commune of Montpoupon in the Loire Valley region of Centre-Val de Loire, the château sits among the rolling farmland and small villages of central France.
