Château de Maisons Castle

Château de Maisons (Maisons-Laffitte) is a mid-17th-century French baroque château in Maisons-Laffitte, Yvelines, designed by the architect François Mansart for René de Longueil. It is considered a key early example of classical French château design and influenced later châteaux.

Visitors typically see the regular facades, the formal cour d’honneur and preserved interior rooms such as the grand staircase and state apartments; the château is frequently visited for its architectural purity and decorative details.
