Château de la Mothe-Chandeniers is a ruined medieval castle in western France noted for its heavily overgrown, romantic appearance; the complex dates to the medieval period and was largely destroyed by fire in 1932. The château had medieval origins and developed architecturally over centuries before a major fire in 1932 left it derelict. In 2017 a large public crowdfunding campaign acquired the site for collective ownership and initiated conservation and restoration planning.

The ruined château sits in a rural setting north of the Loire Valley region; access is by local roads from nearby villages and it is set within parkland that separates it from the nearest small towns.
