Cesta is the second and middle tower on Monte Titano in the Republic of San Marino, positioned on the highest of the mountain’s peaks and forming part of the city’s historic fortifications. It dates to the medieval period and is one of three hilltop towers that are a defining feature of San Marino’s skyline.
The tower contains an exhibition of historical arms and armour collected over the 20th century, and the structure is accessible to visitors who combine it with walks along the citadel walls. Its defensive position overlooks the city and the surrounding Apennine foothills.

Cesta is on Monte Titano in the City of San Marino. From the San Marino bus station (on Via 28 Luglio), it’s a steep 10-15 minute walk uphill or a short funicular/taxi ride to the historic center and then onward to the tower. Organized tours from Rimini run frequently and take about 30-40 minutes by bus.
