Castle Menzies is a historic Scottish castle near the village of Weem in Perthshire. It originates in the 16th century and served as the ancestral seat of Clan Menzies.
The site comprises a tower house with later domestic ranges and associated outbuildings set in riverside grounds. The surviving architecture shows 16th-century masonry and later modifications, and the setting offers views over the surrounding Perthshire countryside.
The castle was built and occupied by the Menzies family from the early modern period onward and remained associated with the clan as its principal seat. Over subsequent centuries the complex was altered and repaired; it survives today as a historic estate rather than a complete medieval fortress.
The castle sits near the village of Weem in Perthshire, in central Scotland, within the general Aberfeldy area. The location is rural, on low ground near river valleys and the Highland fringe.
