Carleton University is a public university in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, founded in 1942. The main campus occupies a hillsite near the Rideau River a short distance south of downtown Ottawa.

By car the campus is approximately 5-7 km south of downtown Ottawa via Bronson Avenue, with campus parking available.
