Çamlıca Tower

Çamlıca Tower is a multi-purpose TV and observation tower on Büyük Çamlıca Hill on Istanbul’s Asian side that consolidates multiple broadcasting antennas. The structure reaches a height of 369 metres and includes public observation, dining and exhibition areas.

Visitors can use elevators to reach an indoor observation deck and outdoor terraces that provide 360-degree views across the Bosphorus, the Golden Horn and the Sea of Marmara; restaurants and event spaces occupy upper levels. Interpretive panels and viewing equipment are provided on the observation floors to help orient views across the city’s skyline.

The tower was completed in 2020 and opened to the public in 2021 as part of a project to replace numerous antenna masts on Çamlıca Hill with a single consolidated structure. It combines broadcasting infrastructure with visitor facilities and cultural spaces.

Sited on Büyük Çamlıca Hill in the Üsküdar district, the tower overlooks much of Istanbul’s urban area from the Asian shore and has road access from neighboring districts and the coastal highways.
