Caieiras is on São Paulo's commuter rail network northwest of central São Paulo. The nearest major airports are São Paulo-Guarulhos (GRU) and Congonhas (CGH); the fastest public route is CPTM commuter train (Line 7) into Caieiras station.
São Paulo-Guarulhos-Governador André Franco Montoro International Airport (GRU): The main international gateway for the São Paulo metro area. From GRU you can take the Airport Bus Service to Tietê bus terminal (approx. 40-60 min; approx. R$40-50), then transfer to CPTM Line 7/CPTM services at Brás/Brás-CPTM or Estudantes to reach Caieiras (see train card). A taxi or ride-hail directly from GRU to Caieiras takes around 50-80 minutes depending on traffic (approx. R$180-300).
Congonhas-São Paulo (CGH): Congonhas handles domestic flights and is closer to the city; travel to Caieiras is usually by taxi or by using São Paulo city bus/metro + CPTM. Taxi/ride-hail from Congonhas to Caieiras is typically 50-80 minutes and more expensive than public transport (approx. R$130-250).
Train: Caieiras is served by CPTM Line 7-Ruby; the station is named Caieiras. From Brás station in central São Paulo the CPTM run takes about 50-70 minutes to Caieiras; single fares for São Paulo suburban rail/metro are charged as an integrated ticket (check local fare updates). The CPTM is the most reliable public option from central São Paulo.
