How to Get to Bumpe
Bumpe is reached by road through regional hubs (Bo or Kenema) after arrival at Lungi or by overland transfer from other parts of Sierra Leone. Shared coasters and private hires are the practical transport options for the final leg.
Lungi International Airport (FNA): The island-wide international gateway is Lungi; to reach Bumpe you will make a long road transfer-often via Kenema or Bo-so plan for several hours on secondary roads after arrival.
Regional air options: Sierra Leone’s scheduled domestic air network is limited; most onward travel to Bumpe is by road from regional hubs rather than by air.
Train: There is no regular passenger rail service to Bumpe.
