Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park is a Florida State Park that preserves the remains of a 19th-century plantation sugar mill and associated ruins in a coastal hammock setting near the northeast Atlantic coast.

Visitors come to view the exposed tabby and masonry ruins of the plantation’s sugar-processing buildings and to walk short interpretive trails through mature coastal hammock forest. The site offers picnic facilities and relatively short, accessible paths that present both the historic ruins and native woodland vegetation.

The plantation complex dates to the antebellum period and was destroyed during early 19th-century Seminole-era conflicts; the remaining masonry and tabby foundations are the primary archaeological features preserved at the park. The state park protects those ruins and the surrounding natural landscape for public interpretation.

The park is located near the coast in northeastern Florida, close to Ormond Beach and not far north of Daytona Beach, within a coastal zone of maritime forest and creeks.

  • Historic and ecological note: The ruins are remnants of an early 19th-century plantation destroyed during conflicts of the period; the site preserves coastal hammock and oak-pine forest typical of Florida's northeast coast.
