Brodie Castle

Brodie Castle is a historic castle and estate in Moray, Scotland, near the village of Brodie and the town of Forres. The present building dates mainly to the 16th century with later additions and is closely associated with Clan Brodie.

The site comprises the castle house, interiors with period furnishings and an estate of landscaped gardens and woodland walks. Visitors come to view the historic rooms, family collections and the formal grounds rather than large-scale fortifications.

The castle evolved from earlier medieval structures into a baronial house in the late medieval and early modern period; it has been successively altered and restored across centuries. Its continuous occupation by the Brodie family and later conservation work have shaped the present appearance.
