Brecqhou is a small privately owned islet immediately west of Sark in the Channel Islands, part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
The islet has been in private hands for decades and gained wider attention after purchase and development by its owners in the late 20th century, including construction and refurbishment of the main house.
Lying a short distance off the west coast of Sark, Brecqhou is reached only by private boat and sits within the Channel Islands group in the English Channel.

Brecqhou is a very small private island immediately off the west coast of Sark in the Channel Islands. It is accessible only by private boat from Sark or from Guernsey; the crossing from Sark is only a few hundred metres. Visitor access is restricted, so permission should be confirmed in advance.
