Bozcaada is a small Aegean island off the Çanakkale coast of western Turkey, historically known by the ancient name Tenedos. It is known for its compact town of stone houses, a harbour castle, beaches and vineyards.
The town’s narrow streets, local wineries and nearby beaches are the principal attractions; the island’s harbour is dominated by a waterfront castle and defensive walls. Visitors use short ferry crossings from the nearby mainland port of Geyikli to reach the island.
