Bouba Njida National Park is a protected area in Cameroon’s North Region that preserves Sudanian savanna landscapes and associated wildlife. It is one of the country’s national parks established to conserve large mammals and their habitats.
The park is known for populations of savanna-adapted species including elephants and antelopes, and it serves as a conservation area within a matrix of agricultural and pastoral lands. Management and conservation challenges such as poaching have affected wildlife in parts of the park in recent decades.
