How to Get to Bonoua#
Bonoua is easiest to reach overland from Abidjan (ABJ) - a short-to-moderate road trip along coastal routes. Regional buses and gbakas are the common public transport links.
Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, Abidjan (ABJ): Abidjan is the main international gateway for southern Ivory Coast and is the closest major airport to Bonoua; from Abidjan the road journey to Bonoua typically takes about 45-90 minutes depending on traffic and the exact pick-up point.
San Pedro Airport (SPY): San Pedro is a regional airport on the coast; from there you would continue overland to Bonoua - options and schedules are more limited than from Abidjan, so Abidjan is the usual arrival point for international visitors.
Train: Passenger rail options in this area are limited and not a reliable way to reach Bonoua.
