How to Get to Bonito#
Bonito (Pernambuco) is normally reached by road from Recife. Intercity buses are the budget option; private transfers and car hire are faster and useful if you plan to move between small towns and rural attractions.
Recife/Guararapes-Gilberto Freyre International Airport (REC): Recife is the main airport serving Pernambuco and is the usual gateway to Bonito (PE). Road travel from Recife to Bonito takes around 2-3 hours depending on traffic and route; intercity buses run this corridor and private transfers or taxis are available but more expensive (expect BRL 200-400 for a private transfer).
