How to Get to Bol, Chad
Bol is a small town on the shores of Lake Chad and is reached principally by road from N'Djamena and regional centres; there are no regular passenger trains. Air access is limited to N'Djamena with further travel by road or charter required to reach Bol.
N’Djamena International Airport (NDJ): N’Djamena is the main international airport serving Chad. From N’Djamena you must travel overland to reach Lake Chad region towns such as Bol; the journey is long and often requires a 4x4 or arranged transport via charter/minibus.
Kousseri/Moundou (regional airfields): There are small regional airfields in Chad and neighbouring Cameroon (Kousseri) but scheduled services to Bol are not regular. Regional flights are limited and often unsuitable for dependable travel planning.
Train: Chad has no national passenger rail network linking N’Djamena to the Lake Chad region.
