Bob Marley Museum

The Bob Marley Museum occupies the former home and office of reggae musician Bob Marley at 56 Hope Road in Kingston, Jamaica. The property was converted into a museum and opened in 1986 to preserve Marley’s living quarters, studio and personal effects.

Exhibits include Marley’s private rooms, the original recording space associated with his work, photographs, stage costumes and awards. Tours explain the life and career of Marley and visit key rooms in the house and studio.

Bob Marley lived at the property until his death in 1981; the house was later preserved and opened as a public museum by his family. The site functions as both a cultural memorial and a destination for music tourism.
