BMO Field

BMO Field is a multi-purpose stadium at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, serving as the home ground for Toronto FC of Major League Soccer and, since the mid-2010s redevelopment, the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts. The venue opened in 2007 and was upgraded to support both soccer and Canadian football configurations.

The facility comprises a grass playing surface, continuous spectator seating and enclosed hospitality and media areas that were added during redevelopment work between 2014 and 2016. It hosts professional club matches, concerts and large-scale public events.

The stadium was built as part of Exhibition Place near Toronto’s waterfront and is accessible from downtown by public transit, road links and pedestrian routes, positioned within the city’s entertainment and events precinct.

• Opening and capacity: Opened in 2007 on Exhibition Place, it underwent redevelopment in the mid-2010s to host both Major League Soccer and Canadian Football League fixtures and has a seating capacity of around 30,000 for soccer events.
