Blidinje Lake is a high-altitude karstic lake in the Blidinje Nature Park of Bosnia and Herzegovina, situated on a plateau among the Dinaric Alps. The lake and surrounding wetlands occupy a mountain basin and serve as a local centre for outdoor activities.
Visitors come for hiking, mountain scenery and alpine meadows; trails from the lake lead into nearby massifs such as Čvrsnica and Vran. The lake is an important local natural feature within the park and is part of a landscape of pasture, peat bog and rocky peaks.
Geographically the lake lies in the Herzegovina region on the Dinaric karst, surrounded by mountain ridges and accessible from regional roads and park trailheads.
