How to Get to Birigui
Birigui is mainly accessed by coach from São Paulo and nearby regional cities; it does not have regular passenger rail service and no major commercial airport in town. The bus terminal is the main arrival point.
São Paulo-Guarulhos (GRU): The main national and international gateway for northwest São Paulo state. From GRU take a coach or transfer to São Paulo bus terminals (Tietê/Barra Funda) and catch an intercity bus to Birigui - expected journey time from São Paulo is about 5-7 hours and fares commonly R$70-R$140.
Viracopos/Campinas (VCP): Viracopos can be convenient for domestic connections; from Campinas you’ll transfer to the bus network to reach Birigui with similar overall travel times and fares to those from GRU depending on the schedule.
