How to Get to Beypazarı#
Beypazarı is an historic town west of Ankara best reached by road from Esenboğa Airport or Ankara city. The usual pattern is to arrive in Ankara and then take an intercity bus or drive to Beypazarı.
Esenboğa Airport (ESB): Ankara’s main airport is the closest major international airport to Beypazarı (≈75-90 minutes by car, ≈90 km). From Esenboğa you can rent a car or take a shuttle/taxi toward Ankara and then onward by road to Beypazarı.
Ankara city airports / rail hubs: There are no closer international airports with regular service; Ankara is the practical gateway for Beypazarı.
Train: The nearest major rail hubs are in Ankara (Ankara Gar). From Ankara you need to travel by road to Beypazarı-direct train service into Beypazarı is not available.
Bus: Intercity buses depart Ankara Otogar (AŞTİ) for Beypazarı; journey time is about 1.25-1.75 hours depending on traffic and route. Local dolmuş and minibuses also operate shorter hops in the region; fares are modest and departures frequent from Ankara’s main bus terminals.
How to Get Around Beypazarı#
Beypazarı is most easily visited by road from Ankara-either by intercity bus from AŞTİ or by car. Once there, the historic centre is very walkable and local dolmuş services cover shorter regional hops.

- Airport transfer (ESB to Ankara) (TRY 200-600 (airport taxi/transfer)) - From Esenboğa Airport, take a shuttle, taxi or bus into Ankara and transfer to AŞTİ or hire a direct taxi for Beypazarı. Direct taxi transfers from the airport are convenient for groups but can be costly.
- Car rental (TRY 700-1,800/day) - Renting a car at Esenboğa or in Ankara is a flexible option for visiting Beypazarı and the surrounding region. The drive is scenic on well‑maintained roads and parking in Beypazarı is generally easy to find.
