The Berlin Victory Column (Siegessäule) is a 19th-century monument in central Berlin, located on the Großer Stern traffic island in the Tiergarten. It was erected to commemorate Prussian victories in the mid-19th century and is crowned by a gilded statue of Victoria.

The column reaches a total height of roughly 67 metres and includes a staircase to a public observation platform that provides panoramic views over Tiergarten and parts of the city. The monument was moved to its present position in the late 1930s as part of wider urban works.

Originally unveiled in 1873, the column commemorates military successes that contributed to German unification in the 19th century. It remains a prominent urban landmark and popular viewpoint in Berlin.

Situated in the central Tiergarten district, the column stands at a major traffic junction and is easily reached from central Berlin by public transport.

Juni and stop close to the column; it is also within walking distance (about 15-25 minutes) from Berlin Hauptbahnhof. You can reach the area by S‑/U‑bahn to nearby central stations and then walk or take one of the sightseeing buses that serve the main central ring roads.
