Berkeley Castle

Berkeley Castle is a medieval fortress and stately home near the town of Berkeley in Gloucestershire, England, with origins in the Norman period and surviving medieval structures. The site combines defensive remains such as a keep and curtain walls with later domestic rooms and formal gardens.
