By Air

Chișinău International Airport (KIV): The main international gateway for reaching Bender. From the airport you can take a public bus or airport minibus/shuttle into Chișinău city centre (to Chișinău Central/Railway Station); fares for airport buses/minibuses are low (around 6-10 MDL) and the trip into central Chișinău takes about 20-35 minutes depending on traffic. From Chișinău there are regular intercity buses and trains to Bender (see Train & Bus card), or you can take a direct taxi from the airport to Bender (roughly 400-600 MDL, about 45-70 minutes depending on traffic and route).

Bălți International Airport (BZY): Bălți/Leadoveni is a regional airport in northern Moldova with very limited scheduled commercial service; it is not a practical regular option for most visitors to Bender. If you do arrive here you will need to arrange a private transfer or rental car - the drive to Bender is long (roughly 2.5-3.5 hours) and public connections are infrequent.
