Ben More (Mull) is a conical mountain on the Isle of Mull in Scotland, rising to 966 metres and forming the island’s highest point. It is the only Munro on Mull and is a key objective for walkers visiting the island.
The mountain has a steep, pyramidal profile and is commonly climbed from routes that begin near the island’s central glens. Due to its height and isolation the summit gives extensive views across Mull and toward the surrounding Inner Hebrides on clear days.
Formed from Paleogene volcanic rocks associated with the island’s igneous history, Ben More sits in the island’s upland interior and is accessed from roads and small settlements around Mull.
