How to Get to Becedas#
Becedas and similar small towns are accessed most conveniently via Ávila: arrive by RENFE or ALSA coach to Ávila, then take a local bus or taxi to the village. Madrid-Barajas is the main airport for international arrivals; Salamanca and Valladolid are regional alternatives.
Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (MAD): Madrid is the primary airport serving Becedas and other western Ávila municipalities. From Madrid use ALSA to Ávila (≈€6-9, ~1h20-1h40) and then a local bus or taxi to reach Becedas. Direct airport-to-village taxis are possible but costly (roughly €120-€160 to Ávila, plus additional distance/time).
Salamanca Matacán (SLM) and Valladolid (VLL): Smaller regional airports; from Salamanca airport take a taxi to the city centre (≈€15-25, ~20 min) and then an ALSA/regional bus to Ávila (≈€7-12, ~1h15). From Ávila transfer onward by local services to reach Becedas.
Train: Estación de Ávila (RENFE) is the main rail hub for the area with regional services from Madrid; expected fares are in the €6-15 range with journeys of roughly 1h15-1h40. From Ávila you will need a bus or taxi to reach smaller villages like Becedas.
Bus: ALSA and regional operators run routes to Ávila; local bus services connect Ávila to surrounding villages but may be infrequent. Fares for short local trips are low (€1.50-6); check schedules ahead of travel and consider booking transfers for remote locations.
