BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir London

The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden, London is a large Hindu stone temple complex in northwest London, completed and consecrated in 1995. It is built and operated by the BAPS organisation and is one of the largest traditional Hindu temples in Europe.

The complex features an elaborately carved stone main shrine with multiple inner sanctums and public galleries, plus adjoining community and exhibition spaces that explain Hindu faith and temple architecture. Regular prayer services and public ceremonies take place year-round, and the complex runs guided tours and cultural programmes for visitors.

Construction work involved hand-carved stone elements produced in India and assembled on site under the direction of BAPS volunteers and architects; the mandir was formally opened in 1995.
