Ballindalloch Castle

Ballindalloch Castle is a 16th-century castle and country house on the Ballindalloch estate in Speyside, northeast Scotland, originally built in 1546. It is the ancestral home of the Macpherson-Grant family and remains in private family ownership.

The site is open to the public seasonally and offers guided tours of historic rooms, access to a restored walled garden, and estate walks along the River Spey. On the estate there are visitor facilities including a tearoom and a single malt distillery established in 2014.

The castle began as a 16th-century tower house and was extended and altered in later centuries; it has remained the seat of the Macpherson-Grant family since its construction. The building and grounds have been adapted over time to include formal gardens and visitor facilities.
