Ballabio is a small town above Lecco in Lombardy. The usual drive is via SS36 to Lecco, then local roads up to Ballabio (the town is a short drive north of Lecco). From Lecco railway station you can reach Ballabio by local bus or taxi; driving distance from Milan to the Lecco/Ballabio area is on the order of an hour to 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
