Balcón del Mediterráneo is a cliff-top promenade and public viewpoint in Benidorm, Alicante province, Valencian Community, Spain. It occupies the tip of the old town overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and is one of the towns best-known lookout points.
The terrace commands views across both main beaches - Levante and Poniente - and directly out to the open sea. The paved viewpoint area is compact and designed for short visits and panoramic photography rather than long stays. Nearby streets and stairways link the viewpoint to the old town, restaurants, and coastal promenades.
The site has long served as Benidorms principal seafront lookout; its current terrace layout dates to the 20th century as the town developed into a seaside resort. Over time the immediate area has been pedestrianised and adapted to handle large numbers of visitors during peak season.
The viewpoint sits at the head of Benidorms old town on the Mediterranean coast of eastern Spain, within the municipality of Benidorm and the province of Alicante. It is a short walk from the main beaches and central parts of the town, making it accessible to visitors staying in Benidorm.

How to Get to Balcón del Mediterráneo #
Located in Benidorm’s old town (Casco Antiguo). From Benidorm train/bus station it’s an easy 10-15 minute walk down Carrer Sant Pere and through the old town alleys toward the seafront. Taxis drop to Plaza del Castillo, a short walk from the viewpoint.
