Baiyang Lake (Baiyangdian) is a large freshwater lake and wetland complex in Hebei province, northern China, known as the largest freshwater wetland in the region. The wetland comprises reedbeds, channels and scattered small islands and water towns.

Tourists travel here for boat trips through dense reedbeds and lotus beds, for local water-town scenery and for birdwatching. The area supports a rich wetland ecosystem and traditional fishing activities.

The wetland has been an important local resource for fishing, reed harvesting and irrigation for centuries; in recent years it has also become a focus of conservation and of regional tourism development.

Baiyang Lake lies in the North China Plain within Hebei province, administered from Anxin/ Baoding area. It sits well to the south of the Bohai coast and is accessible from major Hebei and Beijing-area transport routes.
