Bagalkote is best reached via Hubli (the nearest commercial airport) or overland by regional rail and bus. Local buses and shared transport make it easy to move between Bagalkote and nearby towns.

By Air

Hubli Airport (HBX): Hubli is the closest airport with scheduled domestic flights and is typically used for access to Bagalkote. The drive from Hubli to Bagalkote is about 60-80 km and takes roughly 1.5-2 hours by car; a taxi is likely to cost INR 1,200-2,500.

Belgaum Airport (IXG) / Pune/Bengaluru (PNQ/BLR): Belgaum and larger airports such as Pune or Bengaluru are further afield and used less often; travel by road from these airports is significantly longer and usually replaced by a Hubli connection where possible.

By Train & Bus
