Badhyz State Nature Reserve is a protected area in south-central Turkmenistan that conserves semi-desert and mountain-steppe ecosystems. The reserve is known for populations of Central Asian large mammals adapted to arid environments.

The area was formally protected in the Soviet and post-Soviet periods to conserve regionally important species and habitats. Management has focused on preventing poaching and preserving migration and grazing corridors for native mammals.

The reserve occupies hills and semi-desert terrain in southern Turkmenistan near the border region with Afghanistan, within the broader Karakum-Kopet Dag transition zone.
