How to Get to Aubagne

Aubagne is a small Provençal town east of Marseille best reached via Marseille Provence Airport and the regional TER rail link into Gare d'Aubagne. For flexibility, renting a car is common, but public transport connections to Marseille are frequent and inexpensive.

By Air

Marseille Provence Airport (MRS): The nearest large airport. From MRS take the airport shuttle or bus into Marseille Saint-Charles (about 25-35 minutes) then TER regional trains to Gare d’Aubagne (about 20-30 minutes). Total journey time is typically 60-90 minutes; airport shuttle fares to Saint-Charles are around €8-€10, and TER fares to Aubagne are typically €3-€6.

Nice Côte d’Azur (NCE) / Toulon-Hyères (TLN): These airports are farther; if arriving at Nice or Toulon expect 1.5-2.5 hours by public transport (combination of TER trains and occasional buses) or a shorter drive by rental car.

By Train & Bus

Train: Gare d’Aubagne is served by TER Provence lines connecting to Marseille Saint-Charles (about 20-30 minutes). Regional trains run multiple times daily; fares are modest (a few euros for short regional trips).
