Aspire Tower (often called the Torch Doha) is a 300-metre landmark skyscraper in Doha’s Aspire Zone, Qatar. It was constructed as a focal point for the 2006 Asian Games and functions as a mixed-use building with hospitality and public viewing spaces.
The tower contains a hotel and public levels that offer panoramic views over the sporting complex and surrounding city, and its illuminated exterior frequently serves as a visible city landmark at night. Its prominent location and height make it an orientation point within the Aspire Zone.
Built in the mid-2000s to coincide with the 2006 Asian Games, the tower was part of a wider development of sports and leisure facilities in the area. Its form and internal fit-out were designed to accommodate guests and visitors as part of the games infrastructure.
