Asahikawa Airport

A single passenger terminal handles all services (domestic and occasional charters). The terminal includes check-in counters, security screening and a compact departures area with a limited selection of shops and eateries geared to domestic travellers.

No airside transfers between terminals are required.

Asahikawa Airport is connected to the city by airport shuttle bus and road, with a typical journey to Asahikawa city centre of around 30-40 minutes.

• Taxi: Taxis are available outside the terminal; fares to the city centre are higher than the bus but faster door-to-door.
• Driving: Car rental and private cars are common; allow normal road travel time depending on weather (winter conditions can add time).
• Rail/Metro: No direct rail link to the terminal; transfer to the nearest station requires bus/taxi.

The airport offers the essentials for domestic travel with a small but serviceable selection of facilities.
