The Archaeological Civic Museum of Bologna is a civic museum that houses archaeological collections from the city and the wider Emilia-Romagna region, including notable Etruscan and Egyptian material. The museum presents finds from prehistory through the classical period.

From Bologna Centrale train station it’s an easy walk of about 15-20 minutes west along Via dell’Indipendenza toward the historic centre (alternatively local city buses stop around Piazza Maggiore). Driving into the centre places you near Via dell’Archiginnasio / Piazza Maggiore, but the old town is largely pedestrianised.
