Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is a large state park in southern California that protects desert landscapes in the Colorado Desert region. The park covers roughly six hundred thousand acres and is the largest state park in California.

The park is accessed from Borrego Springs (State Route S22), approximately 90 miles east of San Diego and 85 miles southeast of Palm Springs. From San Diego, take I-8 east to S2 or Highway 78 to S22 depending on the route. The Borrego Springs Visitor Center on Palm Canyon Drive is the primary starting point for information and permits.
