Antioch of Pisidia is an archaeological ruin of a Hellenistic and Roman city near modern Yalvaç in Isparta Province, Turkey. The settlement rose to prominence in the Hellenistic period and was expanded under Roman rule.
Remains at the site include large stone foundations, a theatre, colonnaded streets and visible public building platforms that convey the urban scale of the ancient city. Visitors walk among exposed masonry and terraces that outline the former civic centre and residential quarters.
The city was founded in the Hellenistic era and developed further under Roman administration from the 1st century BCE into the imperial period. It served as a regional administrative and commercial centre and shows layers of occupation and rebuilding through late antiquity.
The ruins lie on a hillside near the modern town of Yalvaç in Isparta Province in southwest central Anatolia. The site is inland, set above surrounding agricultural plain and accessible by road from nearby towns.
