Annapurna II is a major peak of the Annapurna massif in north-central Nepal, located in Gandaki Pradesh. The mountain rises to 7,937 metres and is the second-highest summit in the Annapurna group.

The peak is approached from the foothills and high valleys of the Annapurna range and is part of a compact massif that includes several other high summits. Climbs are technical at high altitude and typically require expedition logistics and acclimatization.

Annapurna II forms part of the Himalayan orogen and has been the subject of mountaineering expeditions since the mid-20th century; it contributes important glacial and watershed features to the surrounding valleys.

The mountain sits within the greater Annapurna region of central Nepal, north of the Pokhara valley and within reach of the trekking and expedition infrastructure concentrated in the Gandaki zone.
