Andøy

Andøy is an island municipality in Nordland county, northern Norway, forming part of the Vesterålen archipelago and lying above the Arctic Circle. It combines low coastal plains and a rugged mountainous interior and is known for wildlife tourism and aerospace research facilities.

Key visitor activities include whale watching from the west coast, birdwatching on coastal cliffs, and visiting the Andøya Space Center at Andenes for science and launch-related activity.
