Am Binnein is a mountain in the Scottish Highlands, classified as a Munro and rising to about 1,165 metres. It is part of the rugged ridge country popular with hillwalkers in the Lochaber area.
The mountain features steep slopes and a rocky summit ridge that give wide views over adjacent glens and nearby peaks in the Mamores and Ben Nevis group. Routes to the summit are steep and involve rough ground; clear weather gives the best visibility.
Formed by the geology of the Highlands, the peak has long been part of local hillwalking traditions and is typically visited for its mountaineering and panoramic qualities. Over time paths and informal routes have become established from nearby access points.
