About Altyaghach National Park#
Altyaghach National Park is a protected area in northeastern Azerbaijan within Siyazan District, established to conserve native temperate broadleaf forest and associated wildlife. It protects stretches of lowland and foothill forest characteristic of the southern Caucasus.
The park is noted for forest habitats with mixed broadleaf stands and for providing habitat to regional mammals and birds. Visitors come for nature observation, short forest walks and wildlife watching rather than intensive tourism infrastructure.
