Alpensia Cross-Country Skiing Centre and Alpensia Biathlon Centre

The Alpensia Cross-Country Skiing Centre and the Alpensia Biathlon Centre are winter-sport venues within the Alpensia Resort complex in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, South Korea. Both facilities were constructed for use in high-level international competition.

The cross-country venue offers networks of groomed trails and spectator infrastructure while the biathlon centre includes a firing range with multiple shooting lanes and an adjacent stadium area. Both venues are used for competitions, athlete training and public winter-activity programming when events are not running.

The centres were developed in the lead-up to and for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, when they hosted the Olympic cross-country skiing, biathlon and related Nordic events. Facilities have been maintained for post-Games use, national competitions and recreational programs.

Located within the Alpensia Resort area in Pyeongchang county, Gangwon Province, the complexes are in a mountain basin in eastern South Korea and form part of a wider cluster of winter-sport facilities used during the 2018 Games.
