How to Get to Alberobello
Alberobello is easiest to reach via Bari (BRI) or Brindisi (BDS) airports, then by regional train or bus on the Ferrovie del Sud Est network. Trains are frequent and convenient for daytrippers.
Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (BRI): From Bari Airport take the shuttle bus (Aerobus) to Bari Centrale in about 20-25 minutes (fare ~€5). From Bari Centrale you can catch regional Ferrovie del Sud Est (FSE) trains to Alberobello; total travel time from BRI to Alberobello is about 1-1.5 hours depending on connections.
Brindisi - Salento Airport (BDS): From Brindisi Airport a shuttle or local bus links to Brindisi Centrale in roughly 20-30 minutes (fare ~€6). From Brindisi station regional trains and FSE services connect to Alberobello in about 1-1.5 hours.
Train: Alberobello is served by Ferrovie del Sud Est (FSE). Typical routes run from Bari Centrale (change at Putignano on some services) and from Brindisi; journey times are around 1-1.5 hours. Regional fares are modest (typically around €3-7 one-way).
